Day 2 : LUANG PRABANG- ROYAL PALACE – WAT MAI TEMPLE (B,L,D)

08:30 Transfer for Luang Prabang city tour:
Royal Palace (officially name “Haw Kham”)- built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family.
Wat Mai Temple: one of the largest, most picturesque and most photographed of the wats of Luang Prabang. Located along the
popular night market street of Sisavangvong and adjoining the compound of the National Palace Museum, it is important for
both its religious and its aesthetic beauty.
Wat Xiengthong: one of the most important temples in Laos located in the beautiful garden on the bank of Mekong River
where the small Nam Khan river runs into it.
Wat Sioun: a very old temple in Luang Prabang that houses many Budda images. This temple has restoration works done
numerous times and there are many art design of Thailu, Sip song Phanna, Thaiphuan, Muong Xieng Khouang and Lao Lanexang.
11:30 Visit Kuangsy Waterfall a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall located 30 km outside Luang Prabang in Laos. There is a flight of steps which one has to climb to reach a pool half way to the top. From there, you can look down to the pool below. Picnic at Kuangsy Waterfall.
Have lunch.
15:00 Visit Hmong village on the way back to Luang Prabang.
Dinner. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3 : LUANG PRABANG DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel.
08:30 Take private car to Elephant Camp to join Elephant Riding .
Back to Luang Prabang for lunch.
Visit Ban Phanom – attracts its share of the tourist dollar through its pedigree as a former royal weaving village. The palace resettled a Thai Leu community from the northern town of Louang Namtha to provide weavers and dancers for King Sisavang Vong’s
court. Transfer to the airport.
